At the end of Forest Farm Road, deep in the heart of the conservation area, bordered by the River Taff on two sides – to the South and West – our allotments are surely located in one of the most beautiful and natural settings in the City.<\/p>\n\n

If you fancy a break from gardening, go and view the amazing Radyr Weir with the twin Archimedes Screws generating sufficient electricity to satisfy the demand for 5,000 houses.<\/p>\n

Or spend a couple of hours (don\u2019t forget your camera) in one of the hides, watching for the local kingfisher and other rare birds. A walk along the Glamorganshire Canal, which used to be a vital communications link from the industrial valleys to Cardiff Docks, is an experienced not to be missed – and to be repeated!<\/p>\n
